How to create wildcard subdomain in cPanel

Wildcard subdomain – is a domain that directs   existing and non-existing subdomains to point to a certain folder in the hosting account.

How does this mean?If someone types a subdomain like forum.techoverload.net– and it does not exist and the other one types blog.techoverload.net and the domain exists ,they will all lead to the same folder that is contained by the wildcard subdomain and show the same content that is contained in the subfolder.

These are steps for creating a Wildcard subdomain

1.Login to cpanel

2.Then navigate the  Cpanel and go to “Subdomains”  which is under “Domains ” sections below the cpanel
