How to add Custom domain to my Google Blog
A custom domain is the one that is not hosted by google but purchased from third party companies.
To some blogger this could be knew.They are not aware that you can add a custom domain to your .blogspot blog.
Adding a custom domain makes your blog look more professional and commercial.It also make it easy for the readers to easily visit your blog without having to type long blog urls.After Adding Custom domain to your blog,Add Add Facebook Popup Like box to engage your readers on facebook.
Steps for adding custom domain to google blog.
1.Login to your Blogger account
2.Click on the blog you wish to set up a custom domain then Click Settings on the left side menu and Select Basic
3.Scroll down to Publishing part and Click ‘+ Set up a third-party URL for your blog’
4.Enter the name of the domain that you have purchased.Note that it should start with www and then Click Save.

5.After the page saves,Two CNAME records will be created.They need to be entered in your domain hosting provider.
All CNAME have two parts i.e Name, Label or Host and Destination, Target or Points to
The first CNAME is similar to all blogs but the second one is particular for your blog.
6.Next step is to sign in to your domain hosting account.There are several web-hosting companies.In my case i will am using Namecheap.Once logged to your account.Select the domain and then click Manage.
7.Go ahead and click Advanced DNS.Find Host records and then click to Add a new Record.
8.You will need to create six records.i.e 4 A records and 2 CNAME records as shown See Below.
Once entered ,click the save icon.
Ensure that no records that conflict the ones you have entered exists otherwise you will need to delete them if they exists.Take a look at below image.Example of records that conflict the ones you entered.
9.Give the records entered sometimes like one hour so that they can take effect.
10.Go back to your blogger account and click save.If everything is okay..you should see below caption on your blog.
The next step is to make sure that your naked blog eg techoverload.net redirects to www.techoverload.net.See next post about this .
